The day after Christmas found us loading up a rental and heading south to Alabama to visit with the Tanner side of the family.
We always enjoy the trip and were looking forward to this year just as much. Because Roxy is a little older, we opted to take her to the US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville which is not far from where we were staying.
I must say that Roxy was a little intimidated by the huge rockets outdoors. She preferred the quiet exhibits indoors - especially those with games and buttons and activities for her to do.
From top left: Daddy and Roxy watching some water training exercises; the three of us pose next to one of the huge outdoor rockets; Roxy finding out her weight on Earth, Mars and the Moon; Daddy and Uncle Jim square off in a moon race; a rocket displayed outside; our cottage for the trip; and Roxy playing the a game in the math displays.
