This weekend, I was thrilled to be invited to my local #GracoSafety event at Babies R Us to see a demonstration on the new Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40. If you follow me on Twitter, you may have noticed I was trying my best to tweet at the event.
We used a Graco SnugRide carseat with Roxy three years ago when we brought her home from the hospital. Since then, I've recommended the SnugRide to my brother and sister-in-law who are expecting their first child in February.
Some of the specs that stood out most to me during the presentation -
* This is the only rear-facing car seat available for a baby from 4 to 40 pounds (2 years) as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
* The shoulder straps are adjustable without any re-threading. How I hated trying to maneuver those straps!
* The carseat base has eight different reclining positions to give your little one lots of leg room. There is also a kick plate to protect your car seats.
* My favorite feature was the preemie body insert. When we brought Roxy home from the hospital, we could barely see her in the carseat.
Thanks again to our lovely hostesses for having us out to learn about such a fantastic new product!
