You may remember that I posted here about Roxy's dysfluency and the fact that she might be going to preschool.
We found out last Friday that she does in fact qualify for preschool and she starts on August 22nd. She'll have a few weeks of early intervention in the classroom and then we'll go from there. Either she'll stay in preschool or not and if her speech issue isn't better, she'll have some one-on-one time with a speech and language pathologist.
I'm still not used to the idea that she is going to preschool. Russ and I are meeting with her teacher soon and my stomach is in knots.
In other news, we finally did away with the toddler bed. We were hoping that maybe the comfort of our bed was what was keeping Roxy in bed with us. Out came the twin bed. Roxy shopped on Saturday for new linens and she loved shopping for sheets.
Last night was her first night in her big girl bed and she stayed all night long. I was a little nervous. We had always used her AngelCare monitor before and to only be using it for sound now had me worried that something might happen. But it didn't!
She's my big girl!
