VBS Fun - Roxy's {almost} First Vacation Bible School

Our church has been hosting VBS this week and Roxy is old enough to go.  {Gigi tried taking her last year, but it really didn't work out.}  She's had such a blast with her friends and is learning all of her classmates' names.  She loves to say "Ash-ee" for Asher and "Coopa" for Cooper.  Emily has proven a little difficult for her.  She also loves to say "Bible."  She thinks its a great word and often giggles after saying it.  I think its because she relates it to VBS which has been so fun for her.  Each night Roxy and her pals color a picture that relates to their lesson, they have an activity time which usually involves Roxy terrorizing her pals by chasing them or running from them as they chase her.  She loves to have a snack of the homemade cookies.

One of her favorite parts is the singing.  The B-I-B-L-E, God's Army, and many more.  She waves her arms and tries to mimick the motions associated with the songs.

Tonight is the final night of VBS and it ends with a cookout and a water slide.  I think Roxy may be a bit too young for the water slide, but I'm sure she'll have lots of fun watching everyone else.

  1. Isn't it so sweet to hear your little one singing? My mom bought my oldest a Bible CD and I love hearing her sing the songs that I sang as a little girl.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  2. Roxy is the sweetest! I love how she says his name and plays so well with Asher. We are so glad to have her as a BFF at church. I don't think I'm even going to show the water slide to Asher. It will not end well for anyone. He won't want to leave. See you tonight!

Thanks for taking the time to leave a note. Your comment is appreciated!
