We've been introducing Roxy to the toys she received for Christmas a little at a time since Christmas has come and gone. If you missed the wonderful story of how she came to hate her rocking horse, you can find it here.
Daddy decided to show her how the blocks that she got are supposed to be played with. She loved to see us pour them out of the storage bag, but would grab two and start banging them together or chewing on them. So Daddy decided to give her a lesson on how to put them together and build. By the end of the lesson, she was putting them together and taking them apart by herself.
"Wanna play with my blocks, Dada?"
"This is how you put the blocks together."
Roxy was very careful to watch Dada closely.
"I don't think we have enough blocks, yet."
"I see a black one. I want the black one."
"Almost got it."
Daddy and Roxy building something great.
