It seems impossible that the tiny little baby born just over a year ago is now one year old, crawling, trying to walk, jabbering, popping teeth, showing her opinion, and just growing up in general.
Her little legs dangle now as I cuddle her close at bed time - when the heck did that happen!
We're slowing making a transition toward sippy cups. Very slowly, because Roxy likes them, but Mommy not so sure yet. Its kind of reminiscent of her holding her own bottle. That feeling that she doesn't need me to do it for her anymore. A good and bad feeling all at once.
The munchkin has learned that she has the ability to make a decision and that she can be stubborn (I don't know where she gets that from!).
Roxy has class at Pickle's house every day. Grandmomma gave her the "Baby Can Read" program for her birthday so Pickle holds class for Roxy with the program and she's learning!
And tooth #2 popped on Tuesday! We're really hoping the rest of these toofers make a quick appearance so that teething will be over!!
